What desktop DAW is better to start with and keep going?
Actually u are already in the right place, as i think Amp Studio suits for beginner needs very well, don’t need to mess with installation, lots of samples and sounds, great to play around with ur music mates on some projects what is great fun. For a Pro desctop tool i would consider Cubase, Logic, or Ableton. I have started with Fl Studio … Yeah good old days … then switched to Ableton … but in love with various mobile apps and new tech things like this, some of them have a very entertaining workflow, some have nice sounds or instant like this one for example.
