Should I start with lyrics or music first?
It us like egg or chicken first ? )) go with the flow , if you already have at least an idea for song that is great, you can create sketch melody and step by step something nice will appear … good luck !
Don’t just follow along with this cos it’s just my personal opinion but I’d start with music.
I agree with raverz, I personally find it easier to start with your song first then do lyrics, but you could also start your song, then start lyrics, and work on them at the same time so it flows better
Sometimes you hear misic and the lyric comes by it self, you keep the lyrics maybe add some more and then you just make a track of your own for that song in the style you want. It is all about creative process and inspiration
