Hi . Yes , it is pretty good done in the app. You select a parameter on a device you wish to automate , right click on this parameter and select show automation. At the top pannel next to REC button there is a button to Rec automation , enable it .
and then click Rec to start a recording. Changing in selected parameter should be recorded as automation, then you can edit recorded automation manually by selecting this parameter on the track
