Do I need studio monitors as a beginner?
Studio monitors are good to have, but the main idea here is to start … so if only ebsence of monitors stop you , skip this step for now just get into it. Listen to that sound that goes out from speaker that available for you now or headphones and try to make it sound good first . Later you will get your best studio monitors. this is not a secret, that is good to check produced audio, final mix on some not professional equipment , cheap speakers and some weird audio tech… and if it still sounds good that is the level )
